HDD 3G sat nav vs DVD sat nav plus

Post by bobbyRS » Wed Jul 20, 2011 1:02 pm

Hi, looking at a couple of second hand 2010 S4 avants. Seen 2 am interested in and each has a slightly different sat nav as above.
Anyone know if any big difference between the 2 as sat navs? i understand abuot the the music storage etc. Specifically does either allow full post code entry?

thanks

No none allow full post code

I have the HDD Sat Nav in my current A5 and previous S4, its awesome

Not too sure what the specific differences are?

Perhaps the HDD ones have the Tech Pack High which will included Voice Activation for ther entire media set up so you just 'say' post codes and street names and it will enter it itself

bye bye

HHD Nav is the nuts...I've just gone from HDD 3G in S4 to DVD in TTRS and the latter is crap...you have to recored the commands for telephone numbers. The HDD 3G nav just works listening to your voice.

If you travel alot you'll love the HDD for it's simplicity.
