Goodbye S4.......you'll be missed....

...but not that much.

Picked this up yesterday, there seems no forum for it? Is it because it's a tarted up hairdressers car (no offence to hairdressers)

The S4 was no replacement after my RS4, looked at 911 but too much money.....TT-RS too much money for what it is but one drive and the deposit went down and 24 hours later.....

Great colour/wheels combo. How does it compare to the RS4?

It's the RS4 replacement I should have gone for over the S4. I wanted a new car with warranty (RS4 4 years and too many niggles) that was quick.

Not as practical vs. Avant but it is very rapid and goes exactly where you want it to go without putting a foot wrong (like the RS4).

Sports Exhaust and Magnetic Ride are musts. Louder than RS4 but it is little and needs to be heard. Would beat RS4 off the mark but 100+ reckon the RS had more grunt.

If they still made the B7 RS4 and I could have got a new one....no brainer it would have been the RS4 due to practicality and nutter-side. TT-RS just nutter-side.

BTW - my eight year old daughter fits in the back seat with legroom (135cm tall) and my Wife's not too close to the dash with plenty of room. I was pleasantly surprised as I thought that was a no no. 2 people only.

Sounds good. Will be interesting to see how the TTRS compares to the RS3.

dude ! now its gonna look like im copying you !! im getting a Sepang Blue TT RS S-Tronic delivered in October !

is yours S-tronic ? if so, you need to try Launch control ...

Best colour combo you've got there mate

My S4 goes back in 2 weeks, I'll write a End of Term report, but all in all, they are great "cruisers" ... but no a patch on an "RS"

You've only just got it????

The S4 was perfect for 80% of the time, I had S-Tronic with all the tech. Hill Hold Assist, speech recognition (crap in TT-RS)...genius. Off the market ver, very quick. Corners were a slight challenge when pushing it but very capable car....I just needed to address the 20% of "ragging it" Thought I'd grown out of it (40 this year) but I haven't.

Only done 100 miles so far but I have the same grin as when I had the RS4.

I went for manual due to lack of complete "manual" on S-Tronic. S-Tronic will be mad off the line.....point and squirt.

As I said, I will miss it for it's comfort, general ability to get from A to B quickly stereo (B&O) and practicality.

(still keep looking out the window at the TT)

Fuel econommy of the S4 was shocking....so far the TT-RS is returning 17mpg on my 4 mile journey to work, the S4 was 11-13mpg.
