Any S4 (B8) owners in Kent area fancy meet... want to see my car in other colours (love to see a white one). Like some MMI tips and the sun has returned, time to open the sunroof... Handed back my 535d today... a few tears. TN area... ?

I can't help with a white car but I may be able to help on the MMI. What's the issue?

3 things so far ... 1) I like to see the speed on the driver information, cant get it up with satnav running. 2) when scrolling thru say the radio do I have to press down (enter) each time i want to change station. 3) on Audi select can i start with a default other than auto?

also in my owners manual there was an additional sheet saying the launch control described in the manul is unavailable.... do we know why , or have i missed a thread ?

Probably need to spend more time with it... I had only just got used to the BMW.

Sure they'll be a Kent meet soon. They are usually around Tonbridge/Tunbridge Wells way...

1 - hit the button under the wiper control arm a few times, one of the display options is the speed in the middle of the DIS

2 - yes, turn dial to scroll, press down to select

3 - not unless you alter it with VAG.COM

No there is no launch control as it's not compatible with the S-tronic 'box

I have found the various settings for DIS but when i am using sat nav the DIS displays route guidance plus a few other bits ... but not speed , becos of calibration .. no 30/50 i really miss the digital speed when sat navin.

You will be pleased to know I have figured out the side assist all by myself... hooray .

theres a Kent meet on Sunday 9th May at the Woodman Ide Hill, 10 min drive from M25 Jnt 5 (see meet secton for more details).

I'm not quite sure what you mean by "becos of calibration .. no 30/50" but if the sat nav is active, hitting that button under the wiper stalk 3 times brings up speed display on the DIS

Sorry bit confusing, basically when Satnav employed the DIS window has directions on it which I would like to keep. But because I am finding the speedo a little hard to read at 30 and 50 mph I would like to have digital speed on the the DIS too. Underneath the direction display the DIS list fuel remaining driving time etc... but not speed. Basically can you have your speed and directions showing in the DIS at the same time?

Have also found a tow bar in the boot?
