S4 options

Hey all...
My ideal would be a RS6 & i've been keeping an eye out for a while now. Coming from a 600bhp+ Nisan R35 GTR.
However, a current project is taking more cash than I expected. So looking for a good daily interim!
So hence the S4 3ltr supercharged!
I'll be looking at an Audi approved, which i'll stage 1 at least for 450bhp!!
Should I wait for a used example with sports diff & exhaust, as here isn't many low mileage used examples about with this option?
Is the sports diff an absolute must have, used for a daily with a bit of fun too???
