Looking to buy an S4 Avant, what would I expect to pay for this lot...

Post by Russboy » Wed Mar 29, 2017 11:49 am

Hi all,

Looking to get back into Audi ownership & away from diesels as basically we don't do many miles & all journeys tend to be short so we're not getting the benefit of a diesel & prob not doing it a lot of good either!

Spec wise I’m looking for the following:

Has to be an Avant (obviously)
2012 or newer
60k miles on clock as a maximum
Automatic (presume they all have the flappy paddles to keep me happy??)
Have a sunroof/panroof (regretting not sticking with this on the BMW so this time it stays as a requirement)
Not white or red.
No silly amount of owners

So to get all of the above what do you think I am looking at on the ££ front? Then there is the problem of sourcing such a car!!

Cheers all,

Russ

Nice idea, but not an option.

Surprised to find out moving from a BMW 320D M sport business edition tourer to a £20k S4 Avant is only + £110 on the insurance with 11 months still to run.

Supposed to be looking at the 41k miler today, however my part ex, my 2008 BMW 320D M Sport Business Edition has a slight problem in that the MOT ran out on the 6th of March, whoops!

MOT booked for 8am this morning.

Really don't want to part ex the BMW as trade is £5k, same as we buy any car will give, however cheapest on autotrader is £7k!

Mine maybe going up for sale over the next week or so, I say maybe as I'm either going to wait for the new RS4 or I'm going to go to go down the 2 car route and get a smoker plus something a bit fancier.
Mines a lava grey avant black edition , 2012, 56000 miles, FASH, diff,
Drive select etc.
Anyway, let me know if you're still in the market and I'll give you the full spec.

Thanks for the message but put a deposit down on one yesterday, hoping to pick it up during the week.

Then it's just a question of what toys to buy!!
