Radio problems + issues as car gets older

Hi Chaps,

My S4 is getting on a bit now and is coming up to 100,000 miles and has developed a few faults recently. I use it as a second car and is brilliant for lugging all my stuff around and it's still a nice place to be.

So recently I've replaced both the front door locking mechanisms after they started failing, all the handle sensors, the thermostat went and now the radio reception is really poor so it looks like something has failed. Anyone have any similar problems and have an idea where to start?

It's the MMI system with nav etc. Would be great if I could find a way of adding DAB and being able to stream music via bluetooth from my phone as well but I suspect that might be a bit of a long shot!

Have a look at AutoDAB. They do a model that adds dab and Bluetooth streaming for about £90. Considering getting one myself...

Thanks! If I can do it for £90 it sounds like a pretty good deal.

You can add a DAB module, so it's as if it's OEM from the factory. Costs a few £100s though.
