winter wheel options

Post by pompeyh » Tue Jun 21, 2016 10:00 am

Hi All,
recently returned to Audi with a 2010 S4 Avant. Can anyone advise on the correct winter wheel package as there seem to be a number of options? I currently have 19" segments with summer Michelins but want a second set for later in the year. Are 17" 225/50 the way to go or 18s or even 19s ? Be grateful for any details , thanks Howard
ps anyone got a winter set looking to sell I have cash waiting!

17s do not clear the front brakes!! I know this from kiteral (memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=32705) who moved from a B8 3.0 TDI to a B8 S4 and unfortunately found his 17" winter set up wouldn't fit.

OEM UK fitment 18s would be the most straightforward option. 8.5" wide, 245/40. Plenty on ebay, some on the forums too

Europe got a 18 x 7.5 option. V rare on these shores!
