Never drove that shape, must have been the earlier one.

Agreed on the FWD diff. Mainly i's the grip and oversteer that annoys me on FWD.

Just make sure they replace all the following parts:

Brake fluid B000750M6 VAG
Lever 0B1141719K
Ball pin 0B1141777B
Piece 0B1141751
Thrust bearing 0B4198165
Gasket set 1K0798741
Cylinder 8k2721401h

The main culprit seems to be a weak clutch fork (in BOLD above). I have had the transmission out 3 times in total now. First time to install a new LWFW and Stage 3 clutch, 2nd time as the clutch fork had bent and master cylinder perished and 3rd time as the clutch fork had bent again!

Hope you get it sorted.

They shipped it to an vag dealer in Glasgow, 11 hours?? gearbox, out clutch ordered, list of other parts, sales manager said I just signed it, I said thank you.

Once it's back they will fix the bumper and all should be well hopefully, I must admit their after sales has been great so far.

Anyway, Vagcom is paid for!

Slight bearing noise from DMF - so they're changing that too now.

Top notch service so far!

Car's still away but I'm getting twice weekly at least updates from them, no chasing, I'm quite amazed so far. Credit is due.

Looking forward to getting her back though!

Car still not back, they've replaced clutch, dmf, door handle, etc but seem to think an engine misfire wasrelated to the clutch?

I don't think this is possible?

There will come a point where they'll have spent that much on it, they'll want you out of the car completely, so they can resell at a higher price to get their investment back.
