Think I got a good B8 today, sport diff etc

I was listed as a Standard B8 S4 2011 but I seen the diff, buttons, bang stereo etc, woa

Got her home today just clicked over 50k miles and it's fairly fast needs more top end though torque drops off a bit.

One niggle, dynamic mode is awesome but if I launch it in that mode the epc light comes on after I hit the 6 speed rev limiter, clutch is taking a bit of getting used to, very low biting point....

Pleased seems to have most of the options!!

Where did you buy it from? Engine management light on, not good. You need to scan the fault codes really.

Thanks it was only after I launched it when I drove 80 odd faultless miles home. Dynamic, left/right hand launch = epc light. Simos ECU.....cheap.

I'll get Vagcom sorted it's got a warranty etc too

I got it from Falkirk, extras list is pretty extensive, I wonder if some of them became standard in MY2011?

Also got start stop button, key doesn't need to be in the ignition etc but doors need manually unlocked, weird combo?

Where did you buy it from? Engine management light on, not good. You need to scan the fault codes really.

It resets after 2 ign cycles back to full power, guessing without codes but abs related maybe idk will buy vagcom

Didn't realise you are in Germany. If the engine management light has come on there will undoubtably be a fault code stored. Have you literally just collected the car? If so, take it back and get it resolved. If you don't have VCDS yourself, see if someone local go you can scan it from an active German based forum. All else fails, take to Audi. Assume you have a warranty from purchase? Couldn't tell what the attachment was, so unsure where you bought the car. Hope this helps

Also indicating a fault is my guess. A handle sensor fault eventually means they all deactivate.

I was hoping it had been disabled by the dealer, I guess when my VAGCOM setup arrives we will know. Thanks!

No I'm in sunny Berwick NE England, the .de VAG website was the only place that I could extract the extras list out of hours etc. It's a PDF file that lists the optional extras as the Germans see it. You need a PDF viewer installed on your system which 99% of them have tbh.

Regarding faults, yes they will all be stored inc freeze frame data etc so not to worry I'll get it fixed. I've had a 7 year Audi sabbatical but I know a lot about car ECU's Bosch, Simos etc so let's see ze codes
