Will a b8.5 aftermarket exhaust fit a b8?

I am told that it will but I don't understand why Milltek sell a b8 exhaust and a b8.5 if they are cross compatible.

Any advice welcomed.

I don't know the answer to the question (does it fit both?) but it could be they just market them separately so that people aren't put off by not seeing their variant explicitly mentioned.
