On the hunt for decent insurance think is I have quotes between £330 and £900. How can it vary so much. The £330 was through Kieth Michaels Well done them. Problem with that is the £400 excess Boo. Who has given you the best figure for renewal.

Zenith were best for me. Mind you I'm in my early forties so I guess that has the biggest impact.

Sky Insurance but then they are only usually cheaper when it's a modified car but worth a quote. They cover like for like as well if you do end up modifying it too which is rare.

Yes all mods and info submissions the same. Also these are current quotes as my insurance runs out on 04/05/2015.

Must admit. Sky was one of the dearest quotes. Best was through Keith Michaels. £330 all mods declared. Think I'll be calling them tomorrow. Was looking for a multi car policy to help my son with his S3 saloon but struggling to find a decent quote for him.

I just renewed my B8 S4 insurance, Stage 2, RS5 Brakes, Milltek etc all declared, best quote was £445 from Jamie @ APlan. In the end I went with HIC though for not a lot more.
That's with all mods declared, fully comp, a few previous fast cars (Stage 3 B5 S4, a Subaru etc), 9Yrs NCB, IAM Pass, and 31 years old.
It really pays to call all the usual suspects, some wouldn't touch the Stage2 car, as it was too high a performance increase, others were not bothered but not competitive. I phoned round Chris Knots, Greenlight, Keith Michaels, A Plan, Adiran Flux, Sky and HIC.

That's with 1st Central. Of course, cheapest doesn't = best. Proof is when you need to make a claim...
