I have had my 2010 sprint blue avant now for 2 year's, and absolutely love it. I bought it with 75k miles on it. It was owned by a sales agent down south, and had full audi service history and all recipts for any work carried out. My original plan was to get a B7 RS4, but after seeing the Chris Harris video with his Revo remapped S4 avant, against the B8 RS4. That really got me thinking, as I wanted something that was quick, able to carry my family comfortably, tow trials bike's and a horsebox occasionally and still average between 25 and 30 mpg. I know some people will say, that I should have got a 3.0 tdi. But I was fed up of diesels, and wanted a decent soundtrack again, having previously had several 5 cylinder audi's and an sti subaru. A couple of months after I bought the S4, I entered a competition in performance VW magazine, for a Revo remap, thinking that it would be perfect, but it would never happen. I had actually forgotten all about it, and nearly fell off the toilet seat, when I got the Facebook message that I had won it. They arranged for it to be installed at my local Revo agent in Inverness, who did a first class job of making sure that he had the most up to date download for the car, before installing it and road testing it to ensure all was well. The car was noticeably more responsive and pulled harder, although it was after a couple of days running, and when someone in a B7 S4 tryed to jump me of a roundabout, that it really showed the difference, dropping it into second and nailing the throttle, i just watched the B7 getting rapidly smaller in the mirrors. I have recently fitted a stasis full cat back system and revo replacement air filter, that now gives the engine the voice it deserves, without any of the drone that normally goes with aftermarket systems. So for me, the 3.0 tfsi S4, now with 104k smiles, ticks all the boxes and then some. I can't wait to get back from offshore each trip, and get back behind the wheel again.

You've got a cracking looking car there fella.

An exhaust is in the pipeline for my Avant - currently trying to decide between Stasis, Milltek or Scorpion.

Lovely colour Jerry, nice result. Was there much of a fuel penalty for the map? And is it sat on 19s?

Cheers guy's, hardly any difference in fuel economy, can still get around 30mpg on a long run, tends to average around 26-27mpg.
Yes Geoff, it on 19s. Fancying some A5 rotors for it next.

Revo were doing a cracking offer on the stasis system, for the S4. But I think they are all gone now. They were selling off all their old stock. I think they are now selling miltek systems.
Steve Worthers is the guy to speak to, he is the sales guy there, top bloke to deal with.

Yep, it is factory black optics. Recently fitted an RS grill, after a roe dear jumped out in front of it and damaged the bonnet, grill and headlight.

Loving that Avant. I want one as the dog won't get in my saloon. I just bought the last Stasis exhaust from Revo. Glad you like it.

Yeah, that was a great deal Steve was doing on the stasis system. I knew that I needed the avant with a towbar from the outset, to transport my daughters horse, equipment and trials bike's, and equipment for my son and myself. I was originally considering an RS4, but the no towing, ruled that out. Although I am sorely tempted by the deals Audi are doing on the B8 RS4, at the moment.

Ahh, got you now, yea. Mine was a bit tricky to get lined up as well. I ended up slackening the rear connector and both connectors where the pipes come together. I found that when I got both tail pipes in the right position, the connector, that joins the two pipes, was not in line. I ended up bending the connector plate a bit, before attaching it. I meant to say that I tightened all the other clamps, before attaching the connector plate.
Also retightend all the clamps after a couple of days running.
I hope this is some help.

Got my Stasis exhaust delivered today. Will have fun fitting it Monday if it doesn't fit right. Not looking forward to that... Hoping it will free up a few more horses to push the car over 500 Bhp though.
