Vapor trail?

2012 S-tronic MRC stage 1 and running on momentum 99. I have noticed on full throttle in the rear view mirror there is a reasonable amount of smoke (not blue) in the headlights of cars disappearing behind. Is this normal due to a richer mixture? No evidence of any smoke on start up or normal running but have noticed at night....
