Hi all,

When I get into my car and press the fan button, choose a speed, sometimes when I look back at it, the car has decided that I didn't want '3' or '5' or whatever I chose and gave me '7' or some other random speed

Any idea why it speeds the fans up sometimes?

Its a 2010 S4 (b8). TBH I find the whole heater system unnecessarily complex. All those little menus flying on then off. Whats wrong with simple dials? Tech gone mad that.

Could it be the climate control changing it? Check to see if the auto is still on when you change the fan value
