Audi Driver select options - salesmen are useless

Looking at used cars and asking the sales people for spec returns all sorts of weird and wonderful answers
So I thought I'd just get them to take pictures of the MMI screen with ADS selected, however this has just left me more confused, lol
The first picture is of an s-tronic facelift car, the second is a manual pre-facelift.
The facelift apparently had ADS with sports diff and damper control. The preface lift apparently has all ADS options.
My theory though is that the manual pre-facelift car only has the diff and dynamic steering hence the dyn. Prefix. Any ideas from the B8 people with any / all of the options?
Also what do you / don't you like? I realise this is subjective really. I drove a saloon that apparently had all options and I really liked it in full dynamic mode.
Cheers

The difference is the mmi itself ,the pre facelift is 2g the facelift is 3g hence the different wording and settings so the options are the same but displayed differently.

Looks to me like they both have all the Drive Select options, but someone with Dynamic Steering could confirm the exact wording on their car. (Dynamic Steering or Steering).

No, I don't have dynamic steering and have all the options shown on the 3g mmi

Arha, the plot thickens!!! I think that suggests my suspicion regarding the dyn. Prefix.
Mojo I don't suppose you'd be kind enough to post up your MMI ADS view and the MY of your car?
Cheers

That was what I was suggesting, there may be a difference in spec between the wording "Dynamic Steering" and "Steering" showing up in the MMI.
Interestingly on a 2g MMI when you use VCDS to active drive select only, it will show engine and steering as options in the MMI.

Just to clarify, Ive got dynamic steering and have just photographed my 3g mmi ,so for a car that has dynamic steering it must say that.In your original photo of the 3g mmi it only says steering so it doesn't have the Dynamic steering option.

Thanks for the confirmation, that's exactly what we needed to see. The first picture in the opening post was from a car claiming to have all ADS options ticked. Presumably as there was reference to each they assumed it had. Clearly not though. At least they can't get it wrong with the diff!
On another note I tried to verify some options with Audi UK, the car in question had a panoramic roof along with other options. All they had was the paint as an additional option.

It has the drop down box though? So you can chose between dynamic, comfort or auto? So confusing isn't it!

The option is the left hand side, the right hand drop box adjusts that option i.e. comfort /dynamic /auto modes. The first photo has just the standard steering the second photo has the dynamic steering option,so in effect on a car with standard steering you can select dynamic mode[it is standard steering set in dynamic mode] it is not the dynamic steering option.Ian i think i explained it correctly it is confusing.

You can spec ADS and it has options to adjust all. Then you can choose to add damper control, dynamic steering and the sports diff. I assumed therefore that the option was specified clearly in the option menu. It looks like on the facelift car it's prefixed dyn. And on facelift cars it's the full word 'dynamic'. I wonder what the cars with damper control say.
Hopefully this thread will be useful for others also thinkin of buying and trying to work out the options.

Suspension control is Damper control. My car has it all plus adaptive cruise control.
