More MRC magic - This time the gearbox

Post by saintS400 » Mon Feb 17, 2014 5:09 pm

If you want more from your gearbox then MRC have a new map that will give the Stronic equipped cars a higher rev limiter at 7200rpm, quicker/cleaner upshifts/downshifts than stock, and user selectable Launch Control - at 3500rpm, 4000rpm or 4500rpm.
The MRC Engine Remap is also updated to take advantage of the Stronic Remap with gains over previous Stage 2 MRC Maps on stock gearbox software.

I have had a test map for a while & it definitely gives you faster shifts when the shifts are already pretty good. Downshifts particularly are noticeably quicker.

Check it out on Facebook.

:biggrin3:

Saw this on MRC's Facebook wall and have spoken to Caney about it who unsurprisingly sang its praises as you did.

I'm booked in for the stage 2 treatment in June. Looks like the invoice just grew slightly :biggrin2:
