Black Grill

Can anyone suggest a decent place to get a Black grill from for my S4, as its having the bumper and wings off for the replacement I though it would be an ideal time to change the grill for the black one .. been quoted £350 from Audi, but this is the standard A4 black one, was wondering if the RS4 grill would be worth a punt...suggestions please...

Mainly because I know that it's supplied by ECS Tuning and there's a long thread on Audizine of B8 S4 owners who have fitted this exact grille without any fitment issues, tweaks being needed or complaints regarding quality. Only downside is the delivery time from the states - 5 weeks and counting. It'll be worth it though!

Either that or keep your eyes peeled for an OEM black optics S4/S-line grille on eBay. Worth a look on eBay.de too as they get loads more Audi bits on there than we do.

Do you have yours yet, if so do you have any pics of it..> does the kit from ECS also include the bar at the bottom...>? what was the cost including shipping... I ordered one from Audi late today, so I may cancel that and look into the RS style... can you let me know please...

Sadly it's still not arrived, sorry. Cost was £229 all in though, as per the link I posted before.

Pmj, did you get your grille sorted out? Mine from ECS finally arrived and I got it fitted last night. Quality isn't quite OEM but very good all the same, no issues with fitment. I'll get some photos up if you like?

yes I did , bought it from a UK seller, quality looked good and its being fitted this week, I collect the car tomorrow all being good, so far I have not heard from the garage of any issues trying to fit it so I am assuming there are none,... it is being fitted by an Audi approved body Shop in Reading

Jay. I am more than happy with my grill,, transforms the front look of the car totally, jus need to sort out the other bits at the front and it will as I want it.

The S4 was done at RAR. I work in Worton drive. Just off the motorway near the stadium and live in Bracknell.
