Is the S4 just an A4 with a big lump up the front?

Hi All,
I owned a B7 RS4 until it was unfortunately stolen this summer.
My options for future cars are narrowed down to either the new RS4 or S4. Ive driven both and liked the S4 a lot more than i though i would.
My concern is am I just buying a S4 which in essence is just an A4 S-line with a 3.0T engine up the front- What are the other differences between the A4 and S4??

Search for the Chris Harris videos on the S4 and I think you might be surprised.
Stage one map is rs4/rs5 fast, stage two even faster ! Needs more noise though as standard exhaust is quiet below 4000rpm.

Id be surprised if it didn't have uprated brakes, suspension etc over the standard A4 too.

+1 I have a diesel s-line too. The S4 has up rated brakes and different suspension I am told. It look the same but that is where it ends.

It drinks more fuel than an A4!

Also, it goes faster, it stops faster and it goes round bends faster. It has 2 more tailpipes too, that's 2 more than even the RS4! Talk about good value for money. To upgrade my car to an extra 2 tailpipes cost me well over £2k.
Probably has better standard spec than other cars in the range too.
