Mine works just by pushing stalk forward once then you get a picture of a headlight with an A in it

Same. Works a treat when you're making progress in country lanes, would be even more useful in a manual.

On my BMW the light switch had to be in the auto position, not sure if this is the same?

Or dazzle other drivers! Ill have this on my impending S5, my Mrs says I do pretend driving now:

Auto gearbox
Auto lights
Auto dimming mirror
Hill hold
Auto rain sensor
Auto dipped beam
Auto folding mirrors
Something else
Something else.

Add in the adaptive cruise and brake guard plus lane assist that actually steers the car like mine then you have the perfect mobile office

I find this ideal for keeping on top if emails

Wait until you have radar cruise, you can go hundreds of miles down the motorway without even touching your pedals. It makes long trips an absolute breeze.

535DBoy - WOW, I didn't know they did the steer thing? Can't wait to try that. I've seen the self park thing, that's cool.

I can't say I like it, the novelty wears off very quickly on that one!

My mate has it on his new focus and still hasn't tried it after a year of ownership!

Would love auto parking. We have to park on street and my 19 inch rotors have already got some kerb marks! I blame the wife but I'm sure I did it once too! Grrrrr.
