Twitchy backend

Now getting well settled with the S4, but noticed a subtlety with driver select in slow corners. With it set to dynamic, turn in quick and the back give a nice feeling of 'sliding' round. I'm guessing that a combinaton of slick, greasy wet roads and winter tyres does not help, but when set to 'auto' I cannot replicate the twitchy backend.

At first I thought something was wrong, but car is solid, runs true, tyre pressures all fine, so can only put it down to the characteristics of dynamic mode and sports diff.

Anyone else notice this. Lost a wee bit confidence in it, but its repeatable and i now know to expect it.

Got to admit though I do travel a reasonable lick (within speed limits)

It's great isn't it, there is a vid of Chris Harris drifting it for the old drivers republic site

Now i know to expect it, a gentle squeeze of the throttle gives a slow speed drift. Its an odd feeling but as you say it's great. Definitely a mix of road conditions, dynamic mode and probably too agressive a turn in. :biggrin3:

It's what appeals to me about the car. You can almost generate oversteer if you push it enough.
