Had battery weak fault up on mmi 3 times in 10 days hope its just the battery not alternator or anything else, its still under warranty booked in for tuesday.

How old is your car? Batteries tend to start fading after 4 years and the cold weather makes matters worse

just over 2 years old its the cold weather with the heated seats and all the other drains on the electrics plus i do a lot of short journeys.

Turns out to be key fob battery it shows the same code as main battery.

Weak battery fault again obviously wasn't key fob battery booked in again at dealer in 2 weeks see what they come up with this time.

Car went in on wednesday had a Q3 as a loaner {nice car] ,picked up S4 today battery replaced under warranty .

Nice one. Brand new Q3 was it? Same interior as an A3 I presume?

Yes new Q3 2.0 tdi s tronic s line totally different interior to a3,i asked for it so i could see if it suited my needs had it for 3 days i really liked it in fact im considering getting the Q3 RS when it comes out later on this year. http://www.audizine.com/news/news.php?nid=275&npid=347

Think the Q3 is one RS too far, each to their own but I don't really see the point of it.

It ticks a lot of boxes for me one being i have an elderly parent who does not drive and relies on me for transport,the Q3 is easy to get in and out of and of course being an RS it will be quick.

I find it odd they haven't even done an S model and the performance of the RS is closer to the old S3. For me it is, on paper, not RS territory.

I agree its strange they haven't done an S,they've Done SQ5 diesel and there is talk of a petrol one .It could be because they have just launched the new S3 in a sportback version, the Q3 is just a taller version of the A3 .
