What would be the maximum oil change interval on a 2011 B8 S4? Anyone know the definative answer?

Isnt it longlife 20,000 miles ?

I wouldn't do it though I have always changed my cars oil at 5,000 miles and intend to keep up that schedule

Agreed, I am going to change mine every 10K miles maximum.
Just having a dispute with Audi as to what is needed and when.

Oil change is 9-19000 mi dependant on oil quality measurement. Or 730 days. Whichever first.

Inspection is 19000 mi or 730 days which ever comes first.

Brake fluid is 3yrs from new then every 2yrs.

That's a variable regime.

Get it on fixed ASAP.

That is oil every 9000mi / 365 days
Inspection every 19000/730days
Brake fluid same.

That's just the answer I was hoping for. I agree with your summary. I just picked up my S4 a week ago, I had requested the oil servicing to be changed to fixed, and the car was meant to be serviced prior to me collecting it - only the main dealer decided that changing the oil was not part of the service!

I would just get an Indy to do an oil change, you will still get a receipt to throw in your file

550, changing the oil is only on an oil service. They probably just did an inspection.

When I bought the car from the dealer we agreed the the car would be serviced prior to me collecting it, and when I got home I realised that they had just done an inspection, so I took it back and made them change the oil too. So all done now and happy, but they should have just done it in the first place - it was due.
