I want an S4 but what should I get.

Happy days! It's going to be a long 4-6 months wait I think for me. My dealer has said he is going to try and source another one early with similar spec. Here's hoping.

Nice Spec, pretty much what I've spec'd. Didn't go for the power tailgate as the wife was worried about getting one of the dogs caught in it!! What do you think of the B&O speakers, are they as good as the Bose ones from the B7?

My build week has now come forward to week 13.

I only added the power tailgate on the re-ordered car. It's dead useful and keeps you clean when the weathers crap and the mucks been pulled up on the rear. It's a great option but I wouldn't have it if I had dogs.

B&O - well I had Bose in my B6 S4 saloon. The saloon sounded a lot better than the B6 Avant - my mate and me both had S4's and had a sounds off with the same CD. We both agreed that the rear shelf speakers in the saloon make the difference. The thing is that's the only time I heard the older Avant sound system and I wasn't impressed.

The new B&O is good but needs winding up. There's enough bass for my taste but I'm sure there's not enough for some people....as sometimes there is no such thing as too much!

I'm happy I ordered it. Some people are claiming that unless you have satnav with it then you don't get the full benefit. This is because if you have nav then it's all connected by MOST bus i.e. fibre optics as compared with copper cables on non-nav. I've no idea if that;s true or not.

The responses just show that we all like different sounds so it's totally down to the individual whether the extra is worth it.
