Re: I want an S4 but what should I get.
hmmm, my dealer said he couldnt get near that price! sounds like a good deal. im still debating getting one as after 3 years will lose 20k of its value = 6k/year loss.
Re: I want an S4 but what should I get.
A lot of dealers I tried couldn't. I called 10-12 different dealers and none could match drivethedeal. A couple came close. Don't know what I'm gonna do if Audi don't extend the offer as it will then probably put it just out of reach I think.
Agree the depreciation is high, I just see it as a monthly expense to be honest.

the B8 is nowhere near the B7 RS 4 dynamically in stock form (i.e. without ADS and sports diff) ... straight line speed yes, but dynamics - not a chance
Re: I want an S4 but what should I get.
I need some people's thoughts on my current dilemma.
I have a FL S4 on order which may take 6 months to arrive which means I will receive it outside the current good finance offer and if Audi don't extend it means I will have to pay loads extra for it.
In the meantime I have found a well spec'd S4 that I can buy now but it is the non-fl without the titanium alloys and doesn't have the small details of the FL or the efficiency. If I take this car I definitely qualify for the offer but I am getting a better spec S4 but older version.
Which option would you choose and why?
Thanks in advance.

Everyone has already said go second hand.......
Being tied by finance always puts you on the back foot.

New for me - Love the smell of a new car!!
Being serious though, I said that after I bought my last s4 (7 month old - 8 grand saving) I'd never buy another new car but I couldn't find a used one with the spec that I wanted so I'm taking the plunge on a new one. You only live once and I'm sure I won't lose too much sleep over how much money it's losing as I drive it out of the garage.
Each to their own. I don't like fat birds but that's just me!

My dealer things the deal will be extended as all a4s are on long lead time...
Re: I want an S4 but what should I get.
As said previously I don't think about the depreciation only the monthly cost. My car is just another expenditure to be honest.
I hope you are right Chris about the finance deal as I think I prefer the FL and I have ordered it how I want it. The hard thing was when the dealer introduced me to the RS3, it purrs and if the interior was as nice as the S4 I would har bought it there and then.

Re: I want an S4 but what should I get.
Pm me what offer you get. I managed to get a good offer on a pre FL S4 today but think I'm going to hold out and hope I get a FL in time. All hopes rest on the extended deal
