Read these.....Did 357.3 mile round trip today.......Warrington and back......I used EXACTLY a tank of petrol. Have a look at the figures. (filled up last night 1 mile back home and then the trip today from home to warrington and same petrol station - 99 RON)

Average speed on the way up was 63mph.

First 4 pics show the return journey's stats. The cost to fill up (59.94ltr) from empty "0 miles" on DIS. And the last are the stats for my ownership of the car..circa 6 months/6k miles.

My daily journey is 4 miles and averages 12-13mpg......the DIS was showing 17.4 mpg for the 6k miles which increased to 18.3 from just one 360 mile journey.

lol ... how sad are we looking at MPG on an S4 !

but 360 miles from a tank is very good ... I would say that is close to the max bar driving 4 hours at 40mph !!!

I think the engine is very economical on long runs assuming your not close to 3 figures

but i think around town and country roads, its just an "un" economical as the RS 4 and thus brings the overall average down

im lucky as my normal commute is c.50 miles with c.40 miles of motorway and prob half of that has 50mph SPECS !

im doing 400 miles tomorrow, London --> Hull --> Milton Keynes --> London, so will report back !!

Sorry, couldn't resist... at least I'm consistent.

Get a remap, increase MPG...

Sounds more like it :bigblink:

I my highly documented journey on Tuesday I did have a couple of drags off the lights and a couple of quick blasts on the M-way. Reckon I wasted 10 miles of range a .5mpg!! :rocker:
