As above, the HPI checks i have had carried out over the years have one section for insurance write-off and one section for stolen so it might be worth paying for a check yourself.

Just depends if the stolen marker is removed completely or if something remains as a log?

Just noticed the post I know how you feel pal.
You should be able to have what you want, you work hard enough but there is always scum who will try to take your pride and joy from you and they don't care what they do to get it AND to top it all off the T****ts walk from court every time - the cops are powerless.
