Just checked out the miltek non-res. Nice! I do wonder if normal driving is compromised though.evojkp wrote:Yip looked at loads and listened to many, albeit on YouTube. APR is nice but expensive. I always came back to non res milltek. It will be loud but that's what I want. Beefy and purposeful. Would have picked non res awe but again costly. With the change from the milly I can get some hookers in Oxford when the wife's shopping.

Re: Another off to MRC thread
I think he is talking about "the drone"

Re: Another off to MRC thread
Ah' ok, was wondering. I'm expecting some drone, but having lived with Blitz nur spec r' and various other drainpipe exhausts on Jap machines, then I ain't too bothered about a bit drone.
One mans drone is another mans pleasure

Re: Another off to MRC thread
I quite like drone around town, I found the milltek a little lacking up the revs to be hones as the pitch changes with revs. But we all love something a little different which makes for great meets like Box Hill the weekend just gone.

Exactly!Noyjatat wrote:I think he is talking about "the drone"
I think I need to hear this non-res myself as on the videos it sounds great and I am now swaying towards it myself! Hate those tailpipes though. Any way of changing them for stock looking chromed ones?

Out of the first three cars left to right. Which has a milltek?

Miltek looks good with ovals, its the quads I don't like. Love the stock quads though.

It's the black ovals I'm getting. Love the look of them.

Lots of rubbish cars slowly progressing to a nice shiny S4
Re: Another off to MRC thread
I told that the exhaust changealeanbery little difference in the performance that it is more for noise. Talks of a 5bhp gain have been banded about. Is this correct as for £1800 that's a lot of money for a noise. ?
Re: Another off to MRC thread
Yip, from what i've read and been told, the exhaust is not needed to achieve performance. I'm getting mine just for the noise. Fed up spending my money on drugs and hookers, so thought an exhaust would be better

Re: Another off to MRC thread
Does it make much difference to the sound of the V6? Don't think I have heard one.
