S4 Steering software update

Hi All.

I've been browsing this forum for a while and was wondering if anyone else had had their S4 recalled for a steering software update recently?

Car was delivered 1st March 2013 so I thought all the steering related issues our friends across the pond have experienced, were solved...I guess not...

Anyway, I've not experienced any issues, so hope the change doesn't screw things up!

I've seen some others on here have had an update recently and no issues so hopefully all will be well...

...it's going in for new brake discs as well due to squeaking (only done 5k miles)...hope this isn't the start of things to come.

My last Audi blew up within two days of driving from the Stealers and required pretty much a new engine...

New pads and all seems well. Hoping no more squeaking. Steering updated and all seems well...thought it was dodgy this morning but probably just Hurricane Jude / Autumn storm blowing car around!

My brakes have started to squeak a bit. But only now and again. Bit annoying when it does happen though.

Squeaking when braking or the really annoying type when you're travelling slow or coasting ?
Copper grease on the back of the pads always seems to work for the former.
