Have been looking at brake upgrade options and this popped up on eBay

Listed as 380mm discs, only a four pot caliper, but a hell of a lot cheaper than the rs5 upgrade.
Surely a bigger disc will give better performance than the 345mm disc at the moment ?

Re: SQ5 brakes, 380mm disc !
It should keep the disc cooler but what will the sweep be like?
No matter where you go, there you are.

Let's wait for Little Cousin Scampi to chime in.
You won't be able to use them if there's a pad overlap.

Yep thats the one.Kiteral wrote:QS5

If you winters are 19" also, those will be perfect, plug and play, no pad issues, mounts and brake cylinders are the same.
As mentioned Saturday, non SQ5 3.0 TDi quattro Q5 models run S4 345 x 30mm discs and very similar Brembo 4 pot calipers to the SQ5. The calipers look different which makes sense for the pad overlap reasons Bam highlights (would be different pads on 345 v 380 mm discs)

This is a good thread for stock S4 345 mm brakes and upgrade 3.0 TDi calipers
