Alu Kreuz Subframe/Drivetrain Stabiliser

Post by xxx_mojo_xxx » Sun Feb 03, 2013 6:03 pm

Has any one tried the uprated subframe bracket, e.g. by Alu Kreuz? Or are there alternatives around that are worth considering?

The reviews sound pretty impressive. :blackrs4:

OEM version looks pretty naff

I think there is a B8.5 kit for the face lifted variant. I've sent an email to see if Alu Kreuz are prepared to do a right-hand version.

I'd tapped them for the Pre facelift and they felt insufficient demand to warrant production.

Not sure the facelifted would offer them any greater appeal but do let us know what they say.

Can a replacement of one fabricated bracket with another that is fabricated a little differently, really make that much of a difference in the handling and feel of the car? This would suggest that the B8 chassis is a wobbly jelly like the B7 RS4 Cab....

Would be interested to hear of real experience of the product though.

Check Audizine, there are a few reviews there.

Alu Kreuz responded back to my query with an uninspiring 'No, we do not do a RHD version'.
