The wait is a killer!
Congratulations, great car, great specs.

Was the car already ordered or did you spec it? Have you been given a confirmed build week?

I have ordered an S4 Avant on July 30th and got build week week 47 3rd week of November, delivery 2 to 3 weeks later....
No confirmed date yet, but ordered exactly a month before you have and have been given a build date of 44 so that's roughly in keeping with what you have. When do the dates normally get confirmed?

I understand once you place the order, the stealer do the same within the Audi system and they get a confirmation with build week after a couple of days. Chase your stealer for confirmed build week.

I have not used Drive the Deal, but quite intrigued as to how it worked out for you. Did you have a px?

I was told that for the price I was getting px wasn't an option so am selling it privately (if anyone is after a mini copper convertible auto 2006, let me know!).

The price on drive the deal was sooo much better than what Finchley road were offering so seemed like a no brainer. Not much contact (needed) with DTD but when I did speak to them they were very good. Highly recommended.

I almost went with DTD but couldn't trade in so fortunately found a dealer that could match the with a car they already on order that I could spec change.

I've heard plenty of good things about DTD.

I was under the impression that once the car was ordered to Audi and build week confirmed, no specs could be changed.

Apparently not. I changed a fair amount. I changed the colour, the seat colour, removed tech pack high, added on parking system and took off sunroof. The only thing I couldn't take off was the folding mirrors as this added an extra 14 weeks to the build but in hindsight glad I couldn't take them off.
