Anyone know what boost pressure their RS runs, standard or remapped?
Anyone done logs on
VCDS?
What about power. My car is very fast to 5k then it is mental fast. Are your cars the same.

Not sure if anyone is interested.
Standard 0.7 bar
MTM Remapped 1.4bar Although that is very high. I reckon 1.2bar is prob better and safer.

my 700PS MTM tune (which turned out to be 650PS in reality) was 0.9 bar. I recon 1.4 bar would be above what is achievable on standard engine internals

1.4 is perfectly safe for these turbos. I once read an article where the guy in charge of the c6 v10 biturbo engine development was quoted as saying " the turbos on the c6 RS6 can release a lot more potential if we allowed them to"...... doug at mrc told me you could run more than 1.4 but then you'd get too much heat and then obviously it becomes counter productive as you lose power rather than gain.
Also MTM guarantee the reliability of their tuning products and develop extensively before release onto the market.

I wonder if the likes of MRC rescale the boost bar graph on the dash. If stock it's 0.9 bar full scale, does it still read same, i.e. 1.1 bar or whatever they do for stage 2 would be off the scale. Moot point anyway as there's no reference figures on the dash...

As far as tuning is concerned, I've heard first 1000bhp RS6 C6 is on its way... Will keep you posted

The Boost bar isnt recalibrated post map. It goes to max reading almost instantly.
As long as you let the car warm up before giving it some and get the oil changed every 6K miles on a mapped car all will be fine im sure.

FWIW, on warming up engine oil, a race mechanic told me critical that dry sump engines get oil warmed up before giving it the beans due to high oil viscosity when oil is cold and high resistance to circulation from the remote oil tank .

I'd suggest that on any internal combustion engine, from an RS6 to a 3 cylinder Kubota mower, to warm it up before giving it beans (or cutting super long grass!). I think oil viscosity is less of an issue with today's synthetics, more like letting the steel bore liners come up to temp and expand after a few minutes and restore the clearance around the ally pistones that came up to temp and expanded far quicker !

Hola alguien me podría decir cuál es la presión de turbo de un rs6 v10 con turbos grandes en 1000 hp
Entiendo que dicen 21psi pero los mlantiene en la gama de RPM
Alguien tiene datos por favor
Gracias
