Dry Sump reservoir o/s/f engine bay.

How can it leak or overflow though??

Mustn't be over filled to allow flow through it.

So if it is overfilled....can overfill escape?.....sounds like thats what happened here?

Still, 38k for a cat D no matter what the cause is still daft. flower it all you want it will always be cat D when you come to sell. Pity as i looked (not physically) at that car. Bit misleading as it also looks like and Audi dealer in the pic.

Build up of pressure in the tank may have forced the cap off and the rest as they say is history!

Am I correct in thinking you'd have to pay cash for a cat d?
Do finance houses finance cat d,s

I thought they didn't.

If that's the case the potential market for this car is even less?
