Mine are also starting again!!!..... :audibash:

Hopefully they will get done under parts warranty as it's been under 24 months since mine were done.
Confirming one was gone and replaced under the warranty of the warranty repair, the other they "grease packed" ... I said I'd be back for a replacement soon :)

Not sure packing bearing with grease is overly helpful. That's only likely to hasten its demise.

SKF is the brand of the bearing. Supposed to be very good bearings. I use SKF on all the Porsches I restore. They were 80ish per side.
Im still unsure what brand the OE audi bearings are. :audibash:

I will do the job myself. Will change both of the fronts in the same go. :blackrs4:

Any link to where they can be bought from?

Can't be doing with this "back to Audi" every couple if months!

I'd be surprised if the OE bearings weren't made by SKF, Timken or whoever anyway.

I bought mine from FleaBay. Germany.

SKF and FAG are considered topnotch bearings. No idea what the OE audi bearings are, but I will find out when I do this job.

I read earlier in this thread audi dealers are ''repacking'' the bearings with grease. How one repack a sealed bearing with grease is beyond my comprehension.
