This was on sale with a smaller dealer early last week for £41k.... Another case of stealers slapping on chunky margins

That's a hell of a mark up! I would of been seriously interested in this at the lower price but out of my current range now. Excellent spec though especially with the ceramics and solar sunroof!

and loosing 50bhp a side into the deal for the lack of coffee can tail pipes :(

I would spec those pipes, the fake ones are no different to a barry gluing bonnet vents on a car

Really? Have I understood you correctly that he quad pipe system will lose 50bhp or are you saying the RS6 dual pipes allow for less power? Sorry, being a bit slow this morning

The dealer will always expect you to haggle and you never pay the Sticker price...

Worth a punt with those extras!! Lovely motor shame about the quad pipes I'm not a fan

The quads are just not my cup of tea...I suppose it boils down to personal taste :thumb:

Do you think that is expensive? It has ceramic brakes and adaptive cruise... but not keyless

I sold my saloon last week for much more, and it was a private sale, I think the prices on these beasts are stabilising, I guess it is all down to mileage

In my humble opinion...any one paying more than 40 k is bonkers....You can get good spec cars, decent mileage now for under 40k..However saloons are more il grant you that......but avants are faster!!... :bigblink:

saloons are faster, IMHO!

just ran 11.78 secs for the quartermile at perth motorplex drag strip.

   for the car, not me.

ps really funny to hear UK people commenting on what they pay for s/h C6 RS6 in UK.
Shed a tear for us over here in oz ~ gbp 100,000 for low mileage C6 RS6 sedan, if you can find one:drink:

Only 10 C6 RS6 imported into oz,I have been told. 3 avants and 7 sedans. My sedan is the only one here in Perth. Gets regularly mistaken for 6 cylinder A6 as doen't sound like a V8 Audi!!.

One of the benefits of owning a 'stealth machine' , I guess. So stealthy, no one knows what it is!!

I noticed this also but only on the Audi site. The dealers site and auto trader ads are still the old price!
