All
My C6 saloon currently has Pirelli P Zero tyres on it. Via ATS I can get the Dunlop Sport Maxx tyres for £280 per corner, a lot less than just replacing with the same Pirelli tyres?
Has anybody had them on their car?
Thanks
Mark

Is there also much of a difference between the Sport Maxx and Sport Maxx GT?
Any help appreciated. The Pirelli's have last about 13k miles.

I've had both, previously had GT and now have none GT. I'd marginally prefer GT's but excellent tyres either way. That said I've not had Pirellis. OEM fitted from new were SM GTs.

Elite direct are doing the OEM Pirellis for £269 a corner delivered it seems
I too would be interested in anyone's experience in comparing the two OEM tyres - which is better?

I lost a front SM GT with a damaged sidewall at about 12k miles. I couldn't get hold of a pair of GTs at the time, so took the plain SMs. Once I'd retrieved the good tyres they still had 6-7mm tread on them. I'm no Jenson Button, but I don't drive like Miss Daisy either!
Ask your local Audi dealer what they will do on price. Mine was prepared to haggle and matched MyTyres much to my surprise.
Note that the SM GT comes in an R02 Audi spec.

Don't think much of the Dunlop OEM SM GT.
Vredestein's have less roadnoise, and far more grippy.

Mine came with the Dunlops GT's as standard, so far they have run about 8-9 k miles and have about 50% wear.
I am looking at Michelin Super Sport next time out, seems they get the best reviews, but I have no complaint with the Dunlops what so ever,
