cos Stafford Audi need one

I went to see / test drive this on Monday

they have today lopped £1,000 off the sale price ... yet on Monday didnt want to budge a penny ... !!

if they had a brain they would be calling everyone that came to see it and saying "hello, that RS 6 you were interested in, well its £1,000 cheaper now ... interested ?!"

when i went to test drive it, it wouldnt start as had no fuel !!!

Yeah saw the price reduction yesterday, very lazy sales staff.

Just let the punters come to you.

Obviously they have got way too much commission.

They would not be in my employ for long if that's how they thought the job should be done.

Out of interest how much would the sales person earn on that car?

Dave, I think I mentioned it on here or the 'other' forum when you pointed out this car a month ago, you do realise UPG that is the ex-evo fast-fleet long-term car?

Evo also used pics of the long-termer in this months RS6 buying guide. UPG at Stafford was one of the three used adverts they included at the end.

Sorry to hijack the thread, but I have looked at this car a couple of times now, and as a long standing customer of Stafford they are now offering me a very very good px deal. Its my 1st choice for colour, with carbon trim and black leather, andc has pretty much all the toys I want too. But I know its history, have seen the vid of this car up against the r8 in EVo's test, its been to the ring at least once with the EVO staff, and has been up at Stafford for a while, no doubt with a few test pilots out in it.

My head says walk away :bigwave: , but my heart says I WANT 571 bhp in my life rite now :jump: .
Am I likly to suffer if I buy it as I would intend to keep it a few years as I have my S4. It does come with 12 months Used Audi warranty but this is 3rd party as I understand it so not sure how good it is until you claim.

Wait until next year when they are closer to 30k.
