I have just ordered and received a set of winter wheels/tyres for my RS6. They are 19x255x40s but are yet to be fitted on my car.

As I am contemplating trading my RS6 down for an A6 3L tdi, I have two questions:

1) Do you think these wheels will fit OK on an A6 (which runs 19x255x35s)?
2) If they can't be used, would anyone here be interested in a set of unused tyres/wheels?

Seems that the RS6 winter wheels/tyres (19x255x40) will not fit onto an A6 and a set for an A6 are another 6-8 weeks. For this reason I am 'forced' to keep the wheels and hang onto the RS6 until the end of January at least.....

Let us know a price and if Grizz isn't interested, I may be.
