Insurance - where to go for decent cover at decent price?

OK, Gp20 (or whatever the new insurance rating is nowadays), but with usually the full security package, maximum NCB, no convictions, no points (there is a Lord), low risk countryside area, driveway (cannot build a garage as AONB....D'oh!) and get on to Admiral. Admiral, who we have been with for many, many happy years, transfer us to the Indian call centre....the problems start. Please bear in mind that neither of us have a racist bone in our bodies, but when it comes to insurance you have to be 100% careful otherwise (in the event of anything happening) - they have you over a barrel.
Q. "What is the make and model of your car?",
A " 2009, Audi RS6 Saloon"
Q"Can you spell that?"
A" What? Audi or RS6?.....A...U...D....I....R...S....6"
Q. "That is 4.2?"
A."No, I don't think they do the 4.2 anymore it is 5.0 V10 TT".
Q "Thank you for your response. Does it have any after market additions"
***This is where the problems start as we bought the car after 12 months and the original guy bought everything and anything extra****
A. "It has a Solar sunroof"
Q"Thank you for your response. A solar sunroof? That is a sunroof?" (knowing that if some idiot puts a traffic cone through it you only would get back the price of standard (if applicable) sunroof)
A "No, it it quite clever - solar panels - supposed to keep the car cool when the engine is not running"
Q" Thank you for your response. So it is a sunroof? Anything else?"
A. "No, it is a very special solar sunroof. Please add it as an extra - they are about four grand (?) new. It has ceramic brakes"
Q" Thank you for your response. Cermaic brakes? What are cermaic brakes?"
A. "They are an optional extra. Like you asked - supposed to be very good and help stop the car better - so they are better for the insurance?"
Q. "Thnak you for your response. Brakes, ceramic? I don't understand"
A. "Please just add them, now there is a jukebox and a satellilte TV"
Q. "Thank you for your response. TV.....you have a TV in the car.....? Satellite TV"
******I hang up and write a letter to Admiral as when the quote arrives it has a 4.2 2009 model shown*******
Anyway, I could go on and on.....and on.....and on.....they are very good and reasonable (<£550 F/Comp with <£200 excess) but it is getting beyond a joke (a joke they could invalidate the insurance?)
Cheers.
