Hi Guys

Just thought i'd say hello

Recently sold a C63 and purchased a 2008 RS6 Avant

Still getting used to the car to be honest as i only have a very short drive to work, keep trying to get out the office for trips out.

Having come from the C63 i am already tempted to explore the exhaust options available.

I see that Miltek seems to be the choice for these cars, can i ask those that have them are they an all round exhaust or are they "droney" at certain revs??

I have been recommended MRC as all round good guys, any other suggestions to throw into the pot?
Ideally looking to do the exhaust and maybe filters at this stage and then possibly a tune at a later stage.

Thanks
Shan

Thanks guys

The thread sounds good, looks like I will be calling AMD and MRC tomorrow

Will keep you posted.

Re the tune has anyone had reliability issues at 700+ bhp also how are the main dealers about it? Can they detect it?

Shan, if you get a revo map and a revo switching device, you. can revert back to standard when you want

If the dealer looks close enough he will see any mapping work, even if "switched back" he will see it has been done? I have a good relationship with my dealer, the car has been updated and serviced by them, no issue to date. Upon asking the big question was informed that before any potential warranty work would be carried out Audi would insist the car was returned to std config, they would do this but only after asking for your agreement...

I've run over 11k miles now and Tony 30k (in 8months  ) without issue.
