Nanolex

Post by morginator » Tue Sep 21, 2010 1:38 pm

Someone suggested Nanolex to protect your whhels from brake dust for up to 20,000 miles. I have OCD on my wheels and brake dust, so ordered some. It arrived today in the post. Holy S..t. is all I can say. £60 quid for a squirter not bigger than a small tube of toothpaste, god knows how that will do all 4 wheels.

It goes a very long way is usually applied by professionals. Go onto http://www.detailworld.com and do some reading or look at this link at how wheels should be prepared (also note the application pad he is using) http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/forum/s ... ht=nanolex.

You probably have more than enough, you just need to readjust your preconceptions. Should be 5Ml per Msq.

You'll easily get the whole car done with that... goes a long way!!

Mine lasted well on the car but OCD will remove it from your wheels in time, as with any sealent don't go at it with too harsh a cleaning product... just wash solution for as long as poss.

Trouble is these cars do kick up a lot of break dust!!!

I lol'd

It's not really a sealant, it's more of a coating. Only use PH neutral shampoo and the nanolex will last an age. I've got C6 RS discs and calipers on my C5 RS and the wheels look great after a hose down but after a quick shampoo mitt attack they rinse off like new.
