LED lights and other warnings
Hi - had mine for just over a month. Brilliant. But I've had so many warnings. Within 20 miles from Audi Coulsden an oil one, easy..., then left front side lights, intermittent when hot...., then tyre monitoring system failure, intermittent....., and lastly both front LEDs have packed up. Under the warranty pro, but is this all normal stuff, it's becoming a bit of a joke in the family as to what it's going to moan about next!

HI, none of that is normal
Take it back and kick up and document everything incase you need to take it further.
Good luck

Indeed, and so I've learned. i'm going to start a new thread on the tyre warning system, but the rest was put right under the warranty. In the end I had two new light clusters - I hate to think how much they are!

RE: Re: LED lights and other warnings
I started to encounter warning issues with my 2008 RS6 avant about 6 months ago!
First the tyre monitoring started showing a warning, which after about 30 seconds, would clear itself, then I got the low brake pad warning everytime I reversed, which cleared after about 5 minutes of driving forwards, but repeated itself a number of times over a couple of weeks then never came back - brake pads were fine incidentally!
I then got the "daytime running light" fault and the lights shut down, but would come back on again. I took the car back to Audi and they ran the diagnostics check and promptly ordered me 2 brand new headlight units and replaced them under warranty (dealer told me it was about a £2k repair bill).
I have recently had the "engine oil sensor" fault indicator come on intermittently as well!
As the car would soon be out of warranty and I didn't fancy a big repair bill, I have decided to replace it for a new one, well what else is there out there that does everything this does? Even with the possibility of these electronic gremlins to look forward to, you can't wipe the smile off my face whenever I'm driving it and now I've got another 3 years of cover thrown in to the mix!
Great forum by the way, keep it up!
Chris.
