Is Daytona cursed?

Post by gmk666 » Sat May 01, 2010 1:16 pm

T2FOO with his oil pipe, me with my coolant tank and CP with just about everything. I thought green was supposed to be the unlucky colour.

Good job it's the best looking colour or I'd be getting really pissed off now.

...and I had a split coolant pipe at 1000 miles with the wife at the wheel.

.

Gav,
Trouble is with having the best colour, I have seen four RS6 C6 in London in the last three weeks and they were all gunmetal or whatever Audi call it. The last one was on the M4 coming out of London.
By the way I waved as instructed by RS246 collective, and got blanked - maybe it's the colour of my car that puts them off.

Cursed might be right.

Filled up and put some air in my tyres this morning (OS front a couple of psi low) NS rear valve stem snapped off, valve intact but couldn't get any air into the tyre.

No spare, and less psi due to deflation by pump, so it was a choice of limp home or wait for Audi recovery to arrive, find an open tyre repair shop.

Still, money can't buy a bonus morning with the kids.

Nor, it would seem, a tyre centre that can replace a valve stem on an Audi with a tyre pressure monitoring system.

£8.45 at Watford Audi.

And did they try to charge you another £130 to fit it?
