Just appeared on the Audi locator:

Sepang Blue Avant
September 2008
37,357 miles

Always good to see a car being used, but :Bloody Hell!: that's a lot of petrol in just over a year.
Was it anyone on here?

One and a half times round the world....pretty impressive. Having said that they are fun to drive, he just probably got the bug and couldn'tm stop taking it out for a dibble.

Crikey... the way I drive that would have cost me £13.5k worth of V-Power plus £3K worth of Pirelli's !!!

Hi Gav,
Sorry didn't recognise you.
That Audi locator is pretty addictive, having said that I daren't go there, it's become my nemesis. It's the place where I can observe my car's value plummet faster than Gordon Brown's popularity in the opinion poles.

My Millys have been delayed due to black coating application on the ovals tips. However, I should be receiving an ASBO from next door neighbours sometime next week.

Oh well Nudenut. I'm sure it'll be worth the wait. Is my order holding yours up and is it the same spec ie black ovals?
I've been meaning to ask if you are happy with your remap?

Yeah, I'm waiting on Black Ovals also... the tips are powder coated off site I understand!

Remap... It's the absolute nads James, completely transforms the car whilst still behaving impeccably!!
Ran mine up on the Audi SRS rolling road day last week she pushing 630BHP and 601lbft torque, yep that’s 815Nm !!!

However... she's off to MRC next Friday in search of that 700BHP

Blimey Nudenut.
I quite like the way you are doing it in stages. I am not sure I'm going that route, we'll see. If I did, I wouldn't mind having a boost control. Don't know if it is do-able but, a long time ago my buddy had his car remapped and he had a boost controller so could switch from standard map to remap with a volume control type switch.
What about fuel consumption and tyres? Any negatives?
Good luck finding that elusive 70 BHP! 8)

I understand there are systems on the market that allow control from within the car, give Doug at MRC a call of any tuning house near you would be able to advise.

Fuel consumption will slightly improve for everyday driving however obviously power comes at a price and when giving the full beans these cars are thirsty at best!!

I can't really compare, I had my car mapped almost straight from the crate as I had my previous A6 3.0TDI AmD mapped and the transformation was outstanding (300BHP - fantastic engine!) so I'm a believer LOL

Tyres, again, same as everything... if you're going to track the car or spend considerable time planting your right foot to the floor then things will wear slightly faster but any tyres you have fitted will no doubt be designed for that type of use.
