Swapping RS6 order:- changing Audi dealer

Post by S8QUATTRO » Thu Aug 07, 2008 7:16 pm

A friend of mine has an RS6 on order but is very unhappy with the dealer from whom he's ordered the car.

He would ideally like to take this order and take it up with another dealer. Obviously, Audi UK would probably have to get involved here, but is this possible?

Can Audi UK override this order and have the car delivered through another dealer when it arrives?

Thanks.

Give Bedford Audi a ring -they should be able to tell you if it is possible -speak to to Justin/Mark
Good luck

I paid a 1500 pound deposit in January 2007 ... yes 2007. My dealer has been less than satisfactory.

I've delayed specifying my car, as I really am in 2 minds whether to order a new 'turbine powered executive barge' because my current RS6 is so amazing.

I have agreed with Audi UK that I can change dealer when I am ready & have managed to agree 3% discount with a dealer.

NB I've been in South West France for 2 months with my RS6. Driving along the country lanes means that one often encounters slow moving traffic / lorries. When a clear stretch of road appears, the power delivery and sure footedness in accelerating is 'beyond most people's wildest dreams'. I get a thrill every time !!

This car's growing on me too - seen the showroom one twice this week trying to sort some warranty work out; been in it both times!

My order will be straight down when they're giving 85% discount! :bigwave:

In another few years these will be a belter of a buy, let it drop to 30k (say within first three years) and then go ahead and buy one to drive into the ground. Maybe an option after the B5 gets more tired.

luckily I will not be selling mine :)
interesting facts that AUDI still has +2.3%YtD of their sales...
And stating the fact that high fuel prices and global economics difficulties affected sales in almost all countries in Europen markets but still 13 countries are ahead from last years sales. Latvia being on the most minus with -34.9% and strangely enough Lithuania being on the highest plus with +23%
Credit crunch?

Also saw this on piston head...
http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/673973.htm
which is a good price but not fantastic

In my quest to buy a V10 RS6, whilst I may end up with a new one to my exact specification and perhaps, some Audi exclusive touches, I find it hard to understand why so many V10 RS6 cars are being delivered WITHOUT a sunroof ! Maybe just my driving needs !
