So what sort of bhp and torque figures would we be looking at after a remap of this 570+bhp beast?

There is around 40 BHP left in there from the factory in stock form. Boost is held back on purpose in an almost ridiculous way in the stock maps, so there's definitely more to come out of them. I already have stock programs from the new RS6 and can't wait to get my hands on one, should happen relatively soon

I'm reliably informed that with just a re-map & without putting much additional stress on the internals, a good 80BHP is available with a similar hike in lbsft.
My concern as per the last model would be the gearbox, as i doubt that's rated even up to the stock output levels, let alone beyond it.
Sure is going to be a monster of a motor & a veratuble bargain in 2yrs

On the previous RS6, the Box was rated to a few lbsft lower than the stock lbsft of the car. On the RS6+, although torque was no higher on the + than the standard RS6, Audi fitted a higher torque rated box to the +'s, pretty much admitting the week point of the car was it's box.
I went through 2 boxes, the 1st when the car was stock & the 2nd post ubber mods. I investigated to death with the OEM Tip Box mfctr & discovered the little gem above.
Audi are not the best when it comes to boxes/clutches, as a good few B7 RS4's have suffered failed clutches & many RS6's have chewed up boxes. Let's just hope Audi have fitted a strong enough Box to the new RS6.

No idea on the internal differences, i just got the rating info from the Mfctr & the + box rating was about 30lbsft higher than the stock C5 RS6 box.
I begged Audi after my 1st box failed to have it replaced with a + box & they could not state any obvious differences.
