Possessed

As in 'controlled by an evil spirit' rather than taken by bailiffs. My car exhibits the occasional electrical glitch - things like the dash display resetting the readout setting, TPMS having a hissy fit, stuff like that, but yesterday it topped the lot. Nice sunny morning, driving along minding my own business when from above my head I heard a loud 'shush' and the road noise increased. Glanced up to see that the sunroof had tilted open - the interior cover is always open at the moment because when closed the springs rattle and get on my nerves, so I could see it clearly.
Never touched the control button, in fact it'd been so long since I used it I couldn't instantly remember how to close it again so rather than mess about while driving along quite narrow country roads I left it for when I got home. About 5 miles later there was another 'shush' as it closed.

Odd....

And today en route to it's MoT test - "Please check oil level".
Oh, get lost, I topped up the oil last week.
Tester said it was fine when he moved it onto the ramp.
Anyway, pass with minor advisories on one of the front suspension lower arms. But, an outstanding recall highlighted. Really? I mean, the car is pushing 16 years old.....

Seems there's a recall for the passenger airbag.
