I've had a rumbling noise when turning right at in town speed. its from the rear nearside and I've been told from the garage that it isn't a wheel bearing, it goes away when applying brakes, it sounds similar to a tyre rubbing but it's not that either. Any ideas?
Thanks guys

I've had this too since putting some part-worns on. Do you have decent tyres on?

Re: Rumbling when turning right
If the noise goes when you apply the brakes it suggests that it's hub-related. Worn bearing, loose drive shaft bolt or duff CV joint, something like that.
Mind you, one time I thought I had a duff bearing it check out ok and I eventually 'traced' it to the inner CV joint. After replacing the joint I discovered that the noise was down to a nail in the tyre.

Found out to be slightly loose wheel bolts ! The garage hadn't tightened them up properly
