Zimmerman, A.B.S and SHW Performance Disc’s

Hi All

All the manufacturers in the title offer disc’s for RS6 but was wondering what’s people views on these?

I hear ok things about the Zimmerman disc’s but cant find much about the others

Autodoc have these all at good prices

I used Zimmerman on my older C5 RS6 and there were absolutely fine and, if my car was still stock, I'd be happy using them on the C6 too. For stage 2 (or faster) cars it would be heavily dependent on how I drive my car as to whether I'd be happy with Zimmermans TBH as their built-in cooling design is the same as the OEM Audi discs, which is garbage when you start to hammer them!

At Stage 2 on a car that gets driven fast a lot, I swapped to AP Racing discs and they were "god tier" - Emergency stopping from 165mph to 10mph almost 50 times through-out a trackday with zero issues (DS2500 pads, ATE SuperBlue fluid)!

I've not seen the other two brands so can't really help there.

The SHW Performance are the OEMs distributed recently by SHW directly at a bit lower price then from Audi. I am happy with them but my car is stock and not used on tracks.

I have a full set of decent OEM discs (F & R) sitting around after I upgraded to RB Racing Rotors Big Brake Kit (Stage 2 car).
