Hi folks,
Just wondering if anyone has come across this error code before, which has come up on my ecu no 2.
P1923, check DTC Memory ECM2 implausable signal
P1579, throttle valve control unit, adaptation not initiated
Its in the garage now, but whatever is causing the code, its stopping both throttle flaps from opening, so it seems to be signal from the ecu to the throttle, but just not sure what the "implausable signal" and adaptation not initiated" actually means & whether it is an issue with the ecu itself, ie a short circuit somewhere in the ecu that stopping the signal etc.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Cheers
Roy

Any work done on recently that required removal of the throttle bodies? If so they may well have been swapped left for right when replaced. Throttle body adaptation is a fairly simple process using VCDS.

No work has been recently that required removal of the throttle bodies. Car was working fine one day, then the next it spat the dummy with the error codes. All of a sudden it seems the ecu cant talk to the throttle bodies.
Also, when it happened, we did try the adaptation, however it wouldn't work due to the error...so it must be something to do with the implausable signal error that came up.
